NEU Dragon and Lion Dance Troupe

Revamped brand identity and online presence

I promoted the troupe by developing and maintaining its visual and digital presence. (I was also a dragon dancer!) I redesigned the logo to incorporate lion dance, which was a new addition to the troupe following us getting the equipment for it.

I designed 30+ social media posts, 5+ poster designs, 15+ merch designs (clothing, keychains, pins), and designed and developed (with HTML, CSS, Javascript) the website from scratch.

By increasing the online presence of the troupe, social media engagement increased by over 350%, performance requests by over 500%, and earnings by over 1350%.

Figures: The redesigned logo beside the original — the new mark brings lion dance in alongside the dragon. · Logo iterations exploring color, containment, and how the two heads share the circle. · Business cards for booking performances. · An informational poster for tabling and campus events. · A selection from 30+ social media posts — events, interest meetings, and announcements. · A multi-panel Instagram post recapping the year in review. · The homepage of the website I designed and built from scratch. · The Our Team page, introducing the troupe and recruiting new members. · Troupe apparel featuring the new logo and a dragon-and-lion back print.
